The Motion Palpation Institute strives to provide the most evidence informed, science based assessment, palpation, and adjustment skills within the chiropractic profession. Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS)
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) is manual and rehabilitative approach designed to optimize movement and establish trunk/spinal stability. It is based on the principles of developmental kinesiology. DNS provides functional tools to assess and activate intrinsic spinal stabilizers in order to optimize the movement system for both prehab and rehab of injuries and performance.

The Mckenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) is a system of assessment and management for all complaints of the musculoskeletal system. MDT is a comprehensive assessment and management approach based on sound and logical principles that FOCUSES ON THE PATIENT AND THEIR POTENTIAL TO SELF-MANAGE AND RECOVER THEIR PREVIOUS LEVEL OF FUNCTION.
Dr. Michael Henrichs DC

Dr. Mike was originally born in Des Moines and a graduate of Carlisle High School. He then went on to get his pre med degree from Upper Iowa University where he was a 4 year starter and captain for the Peacocks baseball team. Following undergrad, he received his doctorate of chiropractic degree from Cleveland University in Kansas City.

While there he had the privilege of treating our military veterans at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. He enjoys using his exceptional clinical experience he gained there while working alongside other healthcare professionals (MDs, DOs, DPTs, Orthopedic surgeons, etc) to return our nations heroes to a pain-free life.

His experience as a collegiate athlete has given him the opportunity to treat many professional athletes and be apart of the team that returns them to sport following injury.

Dr. Mike is also an avid outdoorsman, and enjoys archery hunting.
